There are two types of tickets to BCM: Play Sessions and ColorLab Sessions. Play Sessions allow families to explore BCM’s signature exhibits including World Brooklyn, Neighborhood Nature, Totally Tots, Collections Central and The Nest. ColorLab Sessions are workshops in the Museum’s art studio that offer families an opportunity to explore print-making, collage and sculpture projects inspired by artists such as Elizabeth Catlett, Richard Hunt, Faith Ringgold and Kehinde Wiley, among others.
Play Sessions are 90 minutes in length, with sessions beginning at 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm and 5pm. All visitors must exit BCM at the end of their Play Session so that the Museum can be cleaned.
ColorLab Sessions are 60 minutes in length, with sessions beginning at 10:30am, 1pm and 3:30pm. You are allowed to enter the Museum and explore our exhibits 30 minutes prior to your ColorLab Session start time. All visitors must exit BCM at the end of their ColorLab Session so that the Museum can be cleaned.
