Atiba Edwards Named President and CEO of Brooklyn Children’s Museum

Brooklyn Children’s Museum today announced the appointment of Atiba T. Edwards as its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after he served as the Acting President and CEO since mid-August following the departure of Stephanie Hill Wilchfort.

Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM) today announced President and CEO Stephanie Hill Wilchfort, who has led the institution for nearly nine years, is stepping down in August to join the Museum of the City of New York as the Ronay A. Menschel Director and President. The Board of Trustees has unanimously appointed Atiba T. Edwards, the current Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, to serve as Acting President and CEO upon Wilchfort’s departure.
