Riders Ready: The Science of BMX Exhibit Opening

Explore the science of BMX in BCM’s newest exhibit! Through hands-on activities, discover how bike setup, track design, and safety equipment help riders move faster, stay balanced, and ride safely.

Celebrate opening day on Saturday, October 24 with BMX demonstrations by Matty Cranmer and Chad Douglas, helmet decorating with Transportation Alternatives, an On Our Bikes storytime and singalong with author Dan Saks, and bike raffles courtesy of the BMX Foundation.

The exhibit and opening day activities are included with general admission.

Be Part of Riders Ready!

Training wheels, a wobbly first ride, or pedaling on their own: we’d love to see your child’s early bike-riding moments!

Send us photos or videos for a chance to see your child featured in the exhibit. Other riding photos and videos are welcome, too. Submit by Wednesday, October 21 to receive two free Museum admission tickets for opening day, Saturday, October 24.
