This year Brooklyn Children’s Museum is celebrating its 15th annual Kwanzaa celebration, presented in partnership with Brooklyn-based Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation.
Join us on the first day of Celebrate Kwanzaa as we travel to 1960s New Orleans to discover the rich traditions of the Creole people. Featuring music by a jazz band quartet, Lindy Hop dance classes and performances, child-accessible theatrical readings of Maya Angelou’s biography, and more.
