Brooklyn Book Festival at BCM

The Brooklyn Book Festival is coming to BCM, presented in partnership with the Brooklyn Public Library! Join us on our rooftop during Amazon Free Hours for a live storytime reading, a protest art-making workshop, book giveaways, and more! Participants will learn about age-appropriate antiracist practices, including celebrating and affirming different races and identities, talking about injustice in our society, and modeling ways young children can engage in activism.

The Brooklyn Book Festival is New York City’s largest free literary festival and connects readers with local, national and international authors and publishers during the course of a celebratory literary week. Throughout the Festival week, literary themed Bookend Events bring poetry, film, performances, and more to all five boroughs.
