BCM Summer Camp Program 2020

Summer Camp at PS 189

With the generous support of the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, Brooklyn Children’s Museum offers a free summer camp program in July and August of 2020. To be eligible for this program, students must be entering Grades 1 through 6 in the fall of 2020. Participants will explore art, culture, and science as they take a close look at BCM’s 30,000-piece collection of artifacts and natural science specimens. Breakfast and lunch are served, and participants can look forward to field trips throughout the summer.

About the Program

Please note: Only students entering Grades 1-6 in the fall 2020 academic year are eligible to participate. Children entering first grade must celebrate their 6th birthday by July 5, 2020.

Completion of the Web Form confirms your child’s placement in the lottery for the program but does not guarantee their placement in the program. The deadline for registration is Friday, April 10, 2020. Placement notifications will go out during the week of May 4, 2020.

Physical applications, birth certificates, and other necessary documents are required to be submitted at a later date. We will notify parents of this date and any updates concerning the registration process using the phone number or email address submitted via the Web Form.
