Let your dreams and balloons be showcased during Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend! Come write or draw pictures of your dreams on clouds and balloons, then add them to Dr. King’s birthday cake. Come back later in the afternoon to see it overflowing with birthday balloons and clouds of dreams from children just like you!

Metlife Early Learner Performance Series: Action Racket Theater

A fast-paced, participatory storytelling performance combining stories, song, poetry, and movement. Young audiences rehearse and perform magic spells, create pictures and see stories and poetry come to life. Authors such as Crockett Johnson, Shel Silverstein and Bill Martin, Jr. are featured. A tour-de-force for the imagination, performed by Joanie Fritz Zosike and Lois Kagan Mingus. Made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties.
