Taste of Haiti: Pikliz-Making with Rogers Burgers
Saturday, May 9
11:00 am – 11:30 am & 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Learn to make pikliz, the delicious, spicy slaw-like Haitian condiment of pickled cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers.
At this workshop led by the owners of Rogers Burgers, families will prepare the dish together using fresh ingredients and leave with their own jar of pikliz and a recipe card to make it at home.
The Culinary Residency & Incubator Support Program (CRISP) at Brooklyn Children’s Museum is made possible through generous support from The Wells Fargo Foundation.
