Fees

Self Guided Visits:

Title 1 Schools: $5 per student
Private Schools, Non Title 1 Public Schools: $7 per student

Guided Programs:

Title 1 Schools: $8 per student
Private Schools, Non Title 1 Public Schools: $12 per student

Guided Programs for Students with Special Needs (Sensory Room):

Brooklyn-based District 75 Schools: $5 per student
Title 1 Schools: $5 per student
Private Schools, Non Title 1 Public Schools: $10 per student

Lunch Reservations:

You must have a reservation for your group to secure a space for lunch at the museum during your visit. Without a reservation, you are welcome to enjoy lunch in Brower Park, adjacent to the Museum.

Reserved Lunch Space: $10 per class (approx. 30 students)

Program Times

All Guided Programs are 60 minutes.

Programs are available during three time slots: 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 12:45 p.m.-1:45 p.m.

Self-guided group visits are available between 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Deposit

When your program reservation is confirmed by BCM’s Education Dept., a deposit of 50% of the total program cost is due.

Teacher to Student Ratio

BCM’s policy requires one (1) chaperone for every five (5) students. All adults are free—we encourage you to bring as many chaperones as you would like! If the 1:5 chaperone to student ratio is not met, a $25 charge is added to your invoice.

Cancellation Policy

  • In the event that your program must be rescheduled, we will do our best to accommodate your group’s needs.
  • All groups are eligible for one (1) complimentary program date change, additional rescheduling will incur a charge of $25 per request. Cancellations and rescheduling require notice of five (5) business days. Groups that do not provide requisite notice will forfeit their deposits.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled time.

Visit Restrictions

Due to capacity, Totally Tots and ColorLab are not available for self-guided group exploration.
