Summer Camp Trips
Summer Camp Trips at BCM
Book your camp group for an educator-led workshop at Brooklyn Children’s Museum! Explore BCM’s exhibits and enjoy lunch on our spacious rooftop.
Brooklyn Children’s Museum welcomes camp groups for facilitated programs between 10 am–1 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Available July 5 through August 31.
Camp programs are 45-minute facilitated workshops recommended for ages 5-12. Groups are limited to 25 people. Self-guided playtime in BCM’s exhibits can be added to your visit for an incremental fee.
BCM’s guided camp programs are led by dynamic Museum educators and offer hands-on, immersive, and memorable experiences. Each guided workshop is 45-minutes. Choose from the following workshops on offer.
Whether they can regrow a tail or lift 1,000 times their weight, our animal friends have super powers! Campers will explore the science of regeneration and expert survival skills through this workshop with BCM’s reptiles, insects, and spiders.
Campers will discover the universal ways that we adorn ourselves and make their own creative adornments in this exploration of BCM’s cultural collections.
A Brooklyn block can feel like its own universe, as well as part of a larger vibrant neighborhood. Campers will collaborate to imagine, design, and build a model Brooklyn block.
Ideas, like seeds, need to be planted and grown. Campers will use their imagination to create stories and plant a seedling to take home in this workshop. Max of 15 participants.
Activate your senses through exploring highlights from the Museum’s collection. Campers will interact with a live animal, investigate a cultural object, and create a musical instrument in this hands-on program.
