Hands On As We Grow

Hands on As We Grow is a sensory integration program led by two occupational therapy students from SUNY Downstate at Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Children with special needs and their caregivers will have access to a seven week, 45 minute session per week program that offers fun sensory-based activities to explore their senses. Hands on As We Grow provides children with opportunities to become aware of their bodies and senses. Sensory based activities can allow children to build self-awareness, attention skills, improve behavior and increase social interaction and participation in daily activities.
