Join in the following drop-in art projects and play opportunities taking place each weekend in January in our Studio. This month at SPARK we honor the life and legacy of iconic civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will celebrate themes of diversity, equality, freedom, and resistance in conjunction with BCM’s I Have a Dream Celebration!

Explore the cool colors of winter and use everyday materials to create a textured winter collage.

Dream Weaving
Families reflect on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy as they thread, wrap and weave together a variety of materials to create a dream catcher.

I Have a Dream Clouds
Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed that one day his community and country would be free of racial injustice. Decorate a dream cloud for your family, community, and country. Hang up your cloud on our skyline to help create a Dr. King display at SPARK and watch your dreams soar!
