SPARK Early Childhood Classes

- Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver

Wednesday Story Time & Sensory Lounge
Ages 12 to 36 months
Children and caregivers explore their senses in this interactive class that includes song, storytelling, dramatic role play, objects from the Museum’s touchable collection, and exploration of sensory materials.
Taught by Siri Hellerman. Class size limited to 10 children and their caregivers. Pre-registration required.
Little Artist Mornings (Sold Out)
Ages 24 to 36 months
Each week children will explore the artistic process through sensory-based art activities. By exploring the process of art, children develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills. Participants will be introduced to new artist techniques inspired by famous artists, past and present.
Taught by Erika Garcy Tobin. Class size limited to 10 children and their caregivers. Pre-registration required.
Lavender Blues Music & Movement
ages 12-36 months
Teaching musician Lavender Blues explores music, movement and rhythm with children ages 1-3 years in this engaging jam session. During this class kids develop an understanding of rhythm and music, build awareness and control of their body as well as develop social and coordination skills.
Taught by Alex Louis-Jacques, founder, Lavender Blues. Class size limited to 15 children and their caregivers. Pre-registration required. Note: This class runs January 19 to March 30
