Museum Accessibility
Entrance/Galleries
The Museum is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-users can enter the Museum by the ramp entrance located on St. Marks Avenue. Museum galleries are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
Exhibits
All of the Museum's exhibits are hands-on and incorporate visual, tactile, and auditory components. The Museum also features traveling bi-lingual or tri-lingual exhibits.
Programs
The Museum provides fun, educational learning experiences for visitors of all ages. Experienced educators work with both children and adults of all developmental and cognitive levels.

Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located on the street level. Restrooms are equipped with diaper changing stations.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available for use, free of charge.
Workshops for Families who have Children with Special Needs
The Museum offers weekend workshops for children with special needs and their families. These hands-on programs include storytelling, art making, music, and more.
Sign-language Interpretation
Sign-language interpretation is available upon advance request for both school group tours and family programs.
