    *We are delighted to announce Members-only Mondays! From 9am-1pm on Mondays, July 12 through August 30, the entire Museum will be open for Brooklyn Children's Museum members only as a thank you for your longstanding and generous support! Not a member?     Summer Free Hours

    We are thrilled to welcome Barclays Nets Community Alliance as the proud sponsor of this year's monthly "free admission hours." Beginning on July 10 and 11, admission to the Museum will be free from 2pm to 5pm on the second and fourth weekend every month. Escape from the heat and join us for exciting culture, science, and early childhood program! (Does not apply to school, camp, or other organized groups.)

    Barclays Nets Community Alliance Free Thursday Family Jam Series—

    Join us for eight-action packed Thursdays (July 8 through August 26) this summer, when admission to the Museum will be free from 5pm to 7:30pm with exciting performances on the Museum’s rooftop each week as part of our Barclays Nets Community Alliance Free Thursday Family Jam Series. Come explore exhibits, enjoy special programs, and jam along with a headline performance at 6:30pm each Thursday.

    FALL CLOSURE

    Brooklyn Children’s Museum will be closed to the general public from Monday, September 13 through Friday, September 24 for annual maintenance. The Museum will re-open on Saturday, September 25 with the debut of our newest exhibit, Out on a Limb, adventures with nature and art.

    ADMISSION

    Admission is $7.50 per person.

    Admission is free for Museum members and children under 1 year of age.

    Annual family memberships offer FREE admission for 12 months, and are available beginning at $85.

    Admission for school groups with advance reservations is a discounted $6 per person.

    CREDIT CARDS

    The Museum accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.


    THINGS TO KNOW

    Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (16 years of age or over).

    Food and drink may only be enjoyed in the Kids Cafe, not in the exhibit galleries.
