    Winter Holiday Hours—

    The Museum is OPEN extended hours from 10am to 5pm during these NYC public-school holidays and recess weeks:

      Winter Recess (Thursday, December 24 - Sunday, January 3) 
      Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 18)
      Mid-Winter Recess (Saturday, February 13 - Sunday, February 21)
     
       

    The Museum is CLOSED on the following holidays:

      Christmas & New Year's Day         

    (Fridays, December 25 and January 1)

     

    Winter Free Hours—

    EARLY BIRD

    Free early bird admission is available before 11am on the second weekend of each month. (Does not apply to school, camp, or other organized groups.)

    Winter early bird weekends:

      December 12 and 13
      January 9 and 10
      February 13 and 14

    WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS

    Enjoy free admission to the Museum from 2 to 5 p.m on these Wednesday afternoons. (Does not apply to school, camp, or other organized groups.)

    ADMISSION

    Admission is $7.50 per person.

    Admission is free for Museum members and children under 1 year of age.

    Annual family memberships offer FREE admission for 12 months, and are available beginning at $85.

    Admission for school groups with advance reservations is a discounted $6 per person.

      

    CREDIT CARDS

    The Museum accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.


    THINGS TO KNOW

    Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (16 years of age or over).

    Food and drink may only be enjoyed in the Kids Cafe, not in the exhibit galleries.
