MID WINTER RECESS HOURS  

The Museum is open on Saturday, February 18 through Sunday, February 26 from 9:30-5pm.

WINTER FREE HOURS

Admission to the Museum is free on EVERY THIRD THURSDAY from 4:00–7:00pm and on the FIRST FULL WEEKEND of every month 2:00–5:00pm, except on holiday weekends. (Does not apply to school, camp, or other organized groups.)

ADMISSION

Admission is $7.50 per person.

Admission is free for Museum members and children under 1 year of age.

Annual family memberships offer FREE admission for 12 months, and are available beginning at $85.

Admission for camp groups and school groups with advance reservations is a discounted $6 per person.

Organizations planning a visit of 10 people or more are required to make an advance reservation to receive our discounted $6 per person rate. Please call 718-735-4400 x 118.

We are a Blue Star Museum!  All military personnel (active or retired) with ID receive the discount of free family admission up to 6.

CREDIT CARDS

The Museum accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

An ATM is located in our lobby for your convenience.

THINGS TO KNOW

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (16 years of age or over).

Adults must be accompanied by a child 16 year of age or under.

Food and drink may only be enjoyed in the Kids Cafe, not in the exhibit galleries. The Kids Cafe is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am-3pm.

The KidShop is open Tuesday through Friday 12pm-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm.
