  REMIND ME Winter Recess—MUSEUM OPEN 10:00, for All ages The Museum will be OPEN from 10am to 5pm on this NYC public-school holiday. Come play with us! REMIND ME Touch Tank 10:30, for All ages Meet some creatures from the sea! REMIND ME Blooming Babies Series: Bears, Bears, Oh My! 11:30, for 18 mos-2 1/2 yrs Do all bears hibernate and eat honey? Come learn about different kinds of bears, hear a “beary” special tale, and create your very own bear-paw print to take home!   REMIND ME World Passport Workshop Series: Taste the World 11:30, for 5 and up Join us in this savory event as we touch, smell, and taste our way around the world!  We’ll grind spices and herbs in a traditional mortar and pestle, and then we’ll make a delicious style! Made possible by Sovereign Bank REMIND ME Let It Snow 12:00, for All ages Examine ice through the eyes of a scientist, discover how animals and people around the world get ready for the cold, and find out why we sprinkle salt on our roads. Eat snow and make a snowflake-themed craft to take home! REMIND ME Touch Tank 01:00, for All ages Meet some creatures from the sea! REMIND ME Art Works 02:30, for 5 and under Create a “work of art” using a variety of materials in the Art Studio, inside the new Totally Tots exhibit for kids 5 and under.
