Festival, featuring hands-on art and science workshops that focus on the planet’s resources and the ways people can care for them. Make a bark painting while on an eco-scavenger hunt through the Museum, discover how soil is created and recycled by worms, play a game of Who wants to be a REPTILINAIRE?, and much more. All special programs FREE with Museum admission.

      Become a baby botanist in the Museum’s Greenhouse and Garden!  Find out the things plants need to live and grow, decorate your own planting pot, and sow a seed you can watch sprout at home!

      Across centuries, people have been influenced by nature to create cultural arts. Encounter the Earth and create your own Australian Bark Painting to take home!

      The Eco-Fair has come to town in celebration of Earth Day and the theme is "think green." Browse, explore, and learn about local environmentally-friendly companies. View demonstrations, participate in mini workshops, and learn what it means to grow up green in Brooklyn.

      Join us on aquatic safari as we experience hands-on the beauty and magic of the earth's underwater eco-system. Discover the complexity of underwater symbiotic relationships that ensure the earth's environmental balance. It is going to be a spash!

      Say Cheese! Meet Fantasia & her Friends

      Slither down to the Scinece Inquiry Center for an up close and personal encounter with our beloved 20 foot python. Feel her scaly skin if you dare! For a $7 donation you can even have your picture taken with this beautiful beast or one of her friends.
