SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11 • 5:30pm - 7:30pmJoin us for our first ever "Circle of Love" Dad's & Daughters Ball! Be a debutante for a day on your date with Dad (or Mom)! Enjoy a memorable evening of dance- led by a children's dance instructor, light refreshments by Dunkin' Donuts, and live celebrity DJ from WBLS 107.5 FM radio! As a special treat, each young belle of the ball will receive her own corsage, Valentine's card, and pose for a keepsake photo with her special date. Don't be shy, dress to impress! This is an event you won't want to miss! Supported in part by Kids Club THIRTEEN, Dunkin' Donuts, and WBLS 107.5 FM. Separate admission ticket required for the dance. We are proud to be a donation center for VISIONS! Please bring us your old eyeglasses for this great organization! VISIONS an 85 year old organization, with its main office at 500 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013-1354 (212) 625-1616, provides free services in New York State for the blind and visually impaired including: individualized rehabilitation training at home, mobility in the community, social services, employment training and job placement, caregiver supports and group activities. Help us support them by bringing your old eyeglasses. The donation box is located at coat check. | |
BRAND NEW VISITING EXHIBIT: SECRET OF CIRCLES | |
| Circles are pretty amazing shapes. If you look around, you’ll see that they are everywhere: in the wheels of a car, on the clock on the wall, on the tortillas on your table, and the Frisbees and tops you play with. This highly interactive 2000 sq. ft. exhibition features 18 exhibits designed to inspire children and adults to ask questions and investigate the answers as they explore the math, science, and engineering of circles.
