Since Brooklyn Children’s Museum’s grand re-opening
in September 2008, over 300,000 visitors
have crossed our threshold;

 Our membership has grown to 5,500 and counting;

 We now have 100,000 square feet of all-new interactive
cultural and science exhibits; and

 We are the first LEED-Certified “Green” Museum
in New York City.

The Brooklyn Children’s Museum now has a newly expanded facility that provides many
more opportunities for programs, services, and hands-on exhibits for children and families.
We have a significantly larger audience, a fast-growing membership, and a greater number
of partnerships with organizations in diverse neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn,
New York, and around the world.

sustainable and not hindered by the current economic climate. So much has been lost during
