Spider-Man Day at Brooklyn Children’s Museum
Saturday, May 5 from 12-5pm

Celebrate New York’s hometown hero, Spider-Man, with a day of science and cultural programs. Hear “spidery” tales from ancient legends to modern children’s stories, design your own comic book, see an exhibit of Spiderman memorabilia, explore the science of webs, and meet the Museum’s tarantula, Arachne. Part of Spider-Man Week in NYC.

Pattern Wizardry
March 24 - September 2, 2007

Put on a cape, grab a wand, and enter the magic of Pattern Wizardry! This exhibit is sure to excite budding scientists, mathematicians and artists alike as they learn to recognize, identify, compare, and create patterns.

Hands-on activities, multi-media experiences, and objects from the Museum’s collection reveal how these geometric designs create order and beauty in the natural and cultural worlds.

Children will be spellbound in this wonderland of colors, shapes, and sounds!
