Become an “apprentice wizard” as you explore and play with the power of patterns. With the magic of Pattern Wizardry, you can use special wands to play rhythmic beats, walk inside an amazing 360° mirror to explore symmetry, create electronic patterns using virtual borders, quilts, and kaleidoscopes, and much more! Pattern Wizardry is a hands-on object-based exhibit designed to encourage children's inquiry about their world through investigating how patterns organize and enrich their lives.
Pattern Wizardry received major funding from the National Science Foundation. The exhibition was developed by Brooklyn Children’s Museum for the Youth Museum Exhibit Collaborative (YMEC).
